Welcome to Whispering Leaf Ranch
Whispering Leaf Ranch is a small hobby ranch located
in beautiful Greenleaf, WI.
We have owned horses for over 15 years. We had big horses until we bought
a miniature
and have been hooked since. We started out with a miniature mare, then a
stallion -
we now have 30 miniatures on the ranch, we breed and show our horses.
We monitor our mares during foaling season with video cameras.
Our family enjoys showing in halter, jumping, obstacle, costume class, and
driving.
We also enjoy the fun show activities. Our goals are in liberty, draft,
two horse hitch,
and Pat would like to get involved in chariot driving. We show at the
Sanctioned Shows,
Open Shows, and the Brown County Fair. Our goal is to attend the
Nationals.
For 9 years we have been members
of the NEWMHC Club.
We have both been active members on the Officers Board.
We also specialize in children - we have raised five wonderful children.
We are also proud grandparents of two grandchildren and a third is due
in August of this year. We are in the process of adopting a precious
little girl
that we have had since she was 4 months old, she is now 2 1/2 years old.
